BUYING TICKETS!!! I HATE SERVICE FEES!!!

I wanted to take a quick second to relay a recent Minnesota Twins ticket buying experience that I had with an online ticket broker. I am not a season ticket holder because I just don't have that kind of cash to pay out at one time, so I always pick my favorite games and get them from second hand sellers. I usually surf the net looking for the cheapest seats (who doesn't?!)

I found tickets to the Minnesota Twins opener this upcoming year on a national ticket brokers website. I agreed to pay the listed price for the 2 tickets in section 121 row 26 (right by home plate) and as I was checking out, there was a 15% service fee added to the total charge!!!! I am not a big fan of hidden charges (that's why I hate Ticketmaster) so I did some further shopping and I found the same tickets at Ticket King. Not only were the Twins tickets being sold for less than the other site was selling them for, but there were no added charges at check out. If you are looking for the best prices on Minnesota Twins baseball tickets, check out Ticket King. I know they are a site sponsor of mine so you may think I am biased, but it's true about the no hidden fees and the fact that the other site doesn't disclose it's fees up front is enough to make me never shop with them again.

The Radke Blues

With Radke retiring, the Twins and I are definitely going to suffer the Radke Blues...Who will replace him? can he even be replaced? I think pitching will be the top position to watch at Spring Training (it usually is anyway) - The pitcher selection and performance next year will definitely make or break the Twins. Radke looked really torn over retiring and I found the timing of the announcement rather odd . . .but if the 'ol boys bod just can't hack it then I understand. If I was Brad Radke, I wouldn't want to spend the rest of my life in pain just to play one more season of pro ball. Good-bye Brad Radke, we will miss you.

NEW STADIUM TEASERS!!!

With the holidays right around the corner, the Minnesota Twins have been teasing the fans with baseball stadium dreams (as opposed to sugar plum dreams). Last week, Hennepin County commissioners heard a preliminary presentation about some of the highlights that will be in the new facility, which will be built north of the Target Center in downtown Minneapolis. I guess they are only about 15 percent of the way through the design process, but of course they want to keep the excitement alive so they gave us all a sneak peak into the package. It's like when you used to slowly peel back a corner of the wrapping paper on your presents to see what they were and then quickly tape them back up before mom could catch you. The excitement of seeing a few key words was enough to keep your mind reeling!

So here's the sneak peak in the Twins Stadium package:

*** The Twins ballpark will have about 40,000 seats and only 10,000 of those seats will be in the upper deck, giving the majority of fans a closer proximity to the playing field

*** The concourses will be twice as wide as the Metrodome, and there will be twice the number of bathrooms. Hooray to all of us ladies who have stood in super long lines between innings!

*** The concourse will be open which will allow the fans inside the facility to walk completely around the field without ever losing sight of what's going on

*** The Main entrance into the ballpark will be on the outfield side of the facility

*** There will be a restaurant just beyond right field - yummy!

While the field dimensions aren't completely set, Twins officials say that it will be fair to both hitters and pitchers, and despite the compact size of the facility, it won't necessarily be a power hitter's dream. The power alleys will actually be deeper than those in the Metrodome. I can't wait to see the rest of the package!!!! I have to say that I am nervous that some of the land needed for the facility has not yet been purchased, but the project is on schedule to open at the start of the 2010 season!!!

MY BOY JUSTIN

I had a friend of mine call me the other night just to ask about my blog - remarkable as it may seem a few of my friends actually read this - now if I could just them to leave some comments (hint, hint, nudge, nudge) My friend was surprised that I hadn't made a big fuss over Justin Morneau winning the MVP - well, of course I made a fuss about it - I just forgot to write it in my blog - so HATS OFF TO MY BOY JUSTIN!!!

My kids (who really aren't into baseball) can even pick him out of a line-up. They usually say, "Hey, Mom isn't that the guy you like?" They always say it so loudly and at the worst times - like when my mother-in-law is on the other line . . .I had to do a little explaining there. The kids can also pick out my boy Justin's pal, Joe Mauer. At our house we call Joe Mauer "the make-out dude" because we have heard he is a good kisser . . . . if only I knew.

I mentioned a few posts back that there should be a grass roots effort to get Morneau voted as MVP and I would like to take some credit for his winning! It's fans like me that keep the Minnesota Twins in the spotlight!!!!!

There has been some icky talk that Morneau may not have deserved this MVP, but let's face it it's not a coincidence that the Twins' turnaround coincided with Morneau's emergence. After reading countless articles and seeing lots of interviews, the Minnesota Twins players and coaches all agreed . . . "there was no question they felt Morneau was their MVP. "

Charles from Boston wrote:

I'm from Boston and watched Derek Jeter carry the Yankees through their injuries last summer. He was the MVP, not Justin Morneau. Please pass this on. I'm flabbergasted. This is a total fluke. -- Charles D., Boston

Well, Charles don't be a sore loser and Justin Morneau is NO FLUKE!!! If you took Morneau off this Twins team, there is no way they made the playoffs. Can the same be said of Jeter? I don't think so.

POOR LIRIANO - POOR TWINS - POOR ME

This article is mainly from the Twins site - with my own added commentary, of course.

It's such a bummer that the Twins' hopes and my personal hopes of having Francisco Liriano in the rotation next season were erased when the club announced that Liriano will undergo elbow surgery on Monday in Los Angeles. The surgery means that Liriano will likely be sidelined for the entire 2007 season.

The decision to perform surgery comes after months of uncertainty for Liriano, as he has continued to be plagued by soreness in his left elbow. Liriano first began having trouble will his left elbow in early August and "The therapy and the rehab didn't seem to be working," Terry Ryan, Twins GM said. "Francisco continued to feel some soreness in there, so we're going to proceed with the surgery, and obviously he's going to miss next year."

Liriano headed to the team's year-round training facility in Fort Myers, Fla., after the club was eliminated from the playoffs, and he remained there until Oct. 21, when he experienced pain again during his first light-throwing session. Frustrated with the continuing pain, Liriano left the facility. He spent some time in the Dominican Republic to celebrate his birthday before a decision was finally made to have the lefty visit the Dr. for one last opinion.

Losing Liriano, who was 12-3 with a 2.16 ERA last season, is just another hit to a Twins rotation that already appears to have depth issues. With Brad Radke expected to formally announce his retirement in the coming weeks, the Twins were already planning to add starting pitching this offseason. The only guaranteed spot in the rotation appears to belong to ace Johan Santana.
But while the news of Liriano's surgery certainly wasn't something positive for the club, Ryan said that it doesn't really change the Twins' approach this offseason. "There wasn't any guarantee that he was going to be able to perform," Ryan said of Liriano. "Today's decision just means we have finality here. We need to move forward. We know we're not going to have him and we need to find some other people, whether it's through outside resources or from within the organization..."

So sad to see Liriano out - I hope the Minnesota Twins can find the talent they need to keep the ball club super competitive in 2007 - I have to believe!
APRIL IS NOT THAT FAR AWAY!!!

OK, Minnesota Twins Fans - the schedule is out! I love that baseball is practically a year round affair. We call the Twins the boys of summer, but really with Minnesota Twins Spring Training starting long before Spring ever hits Minnesota and then the big games start at the beginning of April through the end of September and then we have playoffs through October and then talk of trades and surgeries and player of the year awards through December - Minnesota Twins Fans and Major League baseball fans in general have very little down time.

THE SCHEDULE IS OUT!!! THE SCHEDULE IS OUT!!!

Minnesota Twins Fans, the tentative 2007 Schedule has been posted!

TOM KELLY RUMOR MILL
I heard some news about out boy TK the other day and just thought I should share it with the Minnesota Twins Fan readers . . . .Word on the street is that TK is being recruited by some big name big dollar ball clubs to come back to coaching. He was offered a coaching job with the New York Yankees and he turned it down! He was also offered a job for the Chicago Cubbies and turned it down! TK, what is the deal?!?! He said he doesn't want to end up stressed out and dying of heart failure before his time. His brother died of a heart attack recently and I guess that really hit home for 'ol TK. I have to commend him for making that tough decision - I am sure he is not having any trouble putting food on his table, but he made a tough call to walk away from the dollar signs and the spotlights.

I can relate to good 'ol TK. *PERSONAL STORY* coming up here so if you only LOVE the Twins and baseball, you can totally stop reading. I, too, made that tough decision to walk away from dollar signs and the spotlight of corporate america management to join a small company as a peon. I had a great job for a major soft drink company managing million dollars of assets. The job was high visibility, high pay and yep, high stress. I loved it, but then I got married and my priorities began to change. I wanted to spend less time in my office and more time in my home.

My husband is in the Minnesota National Guard and he was on a state side deployment for two years. Internally, I kept feeling the fear of his eventual deployment overseas and how much time I had missed with him to spend time in my high profile corporate job. Then the clincher happened, a friend of his in the guard died while they were on deployment. The sadness in the dead soldier wifes eyes was too much for me - I dreaded being her. I knew that if I stayed on the path I was on, I would have so many regrets it would consume me. I made the tough choice and turned down yet another promotion, quit the corporate job and joined a small company as a customer service/marketing rep. Wow! What a change - yes, I can still feed my family, but I didn't want to end up like the other soldiers wife - just like TK doesn't want to end up like his brother. TK and I have had our day in the sun - now we can just chill and write in our blogs (-:

POST SEASON DEPRESSION

Ok, I have been absent from this blog for awhile now because I have been suffering TPSD - Twins Post Season Depression - after the huge let down when the A's spanked us, I just don't feel like writing about the Minnesota Twins - I realize this makes me a terrible blogger, but I just need a little time to recoup from the heartbreak. I still love the Minnesota Twins and I will forever be a Minnesota Twins Fan!!!! Salute to all the Minnesota Twins Fans out there and hopes of another great season next year!!!!

DRYING THE TEARS!!!
Ok, maybe our boys just need a little California sunshine to turn things around. We have swept plenty of teams this year and I bet we can dry our tears and win a game on the west coast. GO TWINS GO!!! I still believe!!! We have been playing solid baseball, but we just can't seem to drive the runs home!!! Swing the bats and RUUUUUNNNNN!!!!

YEAH BABY - WE ARE THE CHAMPS!!!!

I just knew the Twins could do it! I told my boss I should maybe start a blog about the Vikings because as soon as I started this -the Twins did well - man, I am so blessed. OK, I know it really has little to do with ME, but I am just so excited and so happy to see the Twins win the AL Central. The Twins are a really solid ball club right now and it is showing. We deserve the title because we persevered through the end of the season and kept putting "W's" on the board. GO TWINS GO!!! Now, that we are the champs we have to act like it and beat those A's. You better buy those playoff tickets quick because I know they are HOT HOT HOT!!!!!!!!!!!

TWINS PLAYOFF TICKETS?!?!

Now, the question is where do I go to get my Twins Playoff tickets? The Twins box office doesn't have any good seats available and sitting on hold forever sucks! Does any one answer the real live phone anymore? So I have resorted to using my good friend the Internet. Their are a million ticket sites out there, but I think Minnesota Twins Tickets is a really good site - they have super good prices on Playoff Home Game 1 - for example, Home Run Porch seats in a great low row (I have sat there before - oh yeah, when I was on TV!) are $129 and they don't add on any weird service fees like StubHub - another ticket broker that advertises as a fan to fan site. And if you call Minnesota Twins Tickets they answer the phone pretty quick too - that's how I found out about the no service fees.

I shopped around the net (because that’s what Minnesotans do, we are kind of frugal –dont chya know) and here are some prices I found on the low row Home Run Porch seats:

Minnesota Twins Tickets $129 each
StubHub $139
TicketsNow $140
Razorgator $154 each
TickCo $157 each

So, TWINS FANS UNITE – buy your Twins Playoff Tickets NOW and see the Twins battle for victory at the HOMERDOME!!! I did all the shoppin' work for y'all and trust me the Minnesota Twins Tickets site is totally legit - it's run by Minnesotans who love the Twins...just like me!
CLINCHED IT - HOOAH!!!

I am so excited the Twins clinched a playoff spot (I am still hoping it will be the title and not the wild card) and FINALLY got the media attention they deserve. The clinch was the headline of every 10pm newscast and it was great to see all the sports writers in the locker room getting doused with champagne. I was hoping one of the Twins would say - man, it took you guys long enough to notice how hot hot hot we are! The media attention has been pathetic up until now, but let's look ahead and said yeeeeee hawwwwwww the Twins are in the playoffs. This is truly a solid team and I am ready to see them work their homerdome magic!!!! GO TWINS!!!

I AM FAMOUS!!! I AM FAMOUS!!!

My husband, daughter and I went to the Twins game on 9/11 - mainly because my husband is a firefighter and the Twins had a great ticket deal for first responders and they did a ceremony prior to the game to honor fire/police/EMT. My husband was all dressed up in his fancy dress blues with his shiny badge and sure enough WE were on TV!!! The camera showed my husband, me and my daughter for about 10 seconds between periods. I don't think we were on the Metrodome jumbotron, but our cell phones went crazy with people calling us saying "hey I just saw you guys on TV."

My husband looked great and it was such an honor to be there to pay the respects to other fire fighters who had lost their lives on 9/11/01. The Twins even had local fire departments bring a few trucks down to the plaza before the game and Minneapolis had a giant flag stretched between two ladder trucks - it was amazing and virtually impossible not to feel patriotic. I think it was really cool that the Twins had the ceremony and took the time to honor those who serve. Thanks Twins for not forgetting!
FORGET THE WILD CARD - LET'S GO FOR THE "REAL" TITLE!!!

OK, I was so totally pumped that we were in the Wild Card race and NOW I am even more pumped we are in the Central Title Race - Wild for Wild Cards is pretty catchy, but Crazy for the Central is just as good (-: GO TWINS - I know you can win that title. This is definitely one of the best ball clubs Minnesota has had in a long time! GO TWINS!

JUSTIN MORNEAU IS SOOOOO SWEET!!!

Ok, I already had a super duper huge crush on Justin Morneau for the following reasons:

1. He's rather attractive - Ok, he's hot

2. He know how to work his bat - oh baby!

3. He's from Canada - so are my great grandparents

4. Word on the Street is he's a GREAT Kisser - xoxoxo

5. The fantasies of me and him and his roommate (Joe Mauer) together are just too much

Now just to cement my crush even further, my boss and his son went to the game the other night and Justin threw my boss's son a baseball. THAT IS SO SWEET!!!! Justin totally deserves MVP - I think there should be a grass roots effort starting very very soon!!!!
IS ANYONE HOME?????

I think the Twins have left the building - what is the deal? They can't beat the Royals? It is absolutely ridiculous. The pitching has been pretty good, but there is NO WAY to win a game if you don't score a few runs and swing the darn bats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I thouhgt maybe the losing streak is a punishment from God because I have not been faithful to my committment to write in this blog . . . Please, Lord, forgive me and don't take my lack of committment and lazy tendacies out on my beloved Twins. Let them win tonight!!! Santana is on the mound so it's almost a sure thing, but I thought winning the Royals series would be a sure thing . . . I thought winning at the Dome would be a sure thing . . . Please send the PLAYERS HOME and WIN TWINS!!!!

WILD ABOUT WILD CARDS

I am still totally feeling the Wild Card thing - the Twins pulled off another stellar win last night against the Indians after Michael Cuddyer smacked the ball over the fence (again, this year to save the Twins butts). The hit came just when I thought the chips were down, but the Twins managed to pull another big "W" out of the dome. HOOYAH!!!

I know the Wild Card race is really tight, but I am still totally feeling like I will be buying a Twins Wild Card Championship t-shirt this year. The odds are up in the air, but if the Twins can keep the Dome magic alive and win a few on the road - the next month and half could be super duper fun!

Go Twins!
SUCCESSFUL BLOGSHIP

Ok, I realize to have a successful blog you should place an entry every day - that's what the readers want and frankly that's the main reason why people even have blogs so they can write EVERY DAY. I keep asking myself why I don't write every day?I usually have at least a few words that I want to share with the general public so I decided to make a list:

Top 5 Reasons I don't write on this blog every day:
1. I have dial-up - I know that's crazy this day in age, but I am cheap
2. I usually blog at work because it's NOT dial-up and some days work is too busy
for me to be goofing on the Internet
3. I feel like I say the same things every day - go Twins or Twins suck
4. I have a family that eats up an enormous amount of my time - is that normal?
5. I love to watch TV and that eats up the rest of my time - that's probably not normal either

Those are just the top 5 - I could rationalize why I don't write daily about my beloved Twinkies all day long, but I think my boss would start to wonder what all the click click clicking was about. . . (-:

GO TWINS!!!

AND A HUGE SALUTE TO THE BLOGGERS THAT WRITE EVERY DAY - I ADMIRE YOU ALL!!!

GOOD-BYE KYLE AND TWIN LYLE & Where was Mauer?

I have to say I am pleased to see Kyle Lohse and his evil twin Lyle Lohse get traded away. Now, Kyle is a fine looking fellow, but I was so sick of his double personality and unpredictable pitching, I am glad to have a chance at new bull pen blood with the Ward fellow.

p.s. One of my fellow girl Twins Fan/Stalker reported to me that Joe Mauer was super late for his signing at Best Buy on Saturday . . . Was Miss USA or Miss I Wanna Kiss You Today holding him up??? and does anyone know if my boy Justin was on time or were they held up somewhere together??? hmmmmmmm.....

I WANTED TO SEE JUSTIN!!!

This Post is to officially pout that I didn't get out to Best Buy to see my boy Justin Morneau )-: I had to work today and boo hoo I didn't get a chance to glance lustfully into Justin's eyes...I hope that doesn't mean bad Karma for tonight's game?!?! NO - how could I even think such a thing - GO TWINS - Get those Tigers by the Tail!!!!

Friday, July 28, 2006

WILD ABOUT WILD CARDS!!!

Holy Cow! The Twins swept the White Sox and are now in line to battle the Tigers and they really do need to take the Tiger by the Tail and win at least one game in the series. This series is definitely the hottest of the year and I just hope our 3 ace pitchers are warmed up and ready to MAKE IT HAPPEN! Go Twins Go!

WHO TO CHEER FOR?

At this point in the season, I don't know who to cheer for when the Tigers and the White Sox play. I don't like either team, but statistically I think the Twins have a better shot at winning the AL wild card than the AL Central so I guess I will cheer for the Tigers to beat the Sox. My Minnesota Twins Fan Ultimate Prediction . . . the White Sox will self implode, the Yanks will lose a few and win a few and the Twins will come out on top to win the Wild Card!

Let's GO Twins!!!!!

HOT HOT HOT!!! Minnesota Twins and Minnesota Weather - Hot Hot Hot

Liriano pitched another stellar game last night and my boy Justin hit one over the fence, too. It is so exciting to see the Twins racking up the wins at home. The Twins have to be the hottest ticket in town these days!

I just wish the other teams in the pennant race would cool down a bit. Those darn Yankees and the Wimpy Sox keep scoring "W's" as well. It will be crucial that the Minnesota Twins keep the winning momentum rolling if we have any chance in you know where to win that wild card.

To all of the Minnesota Twins fans: stay cool on these hot sticky days - the Dome is a nice controlled climate to enjoy watching your Twins and I know I read somewhere that it is a fact that when the air conditioner is running full blast at the Dome more homeruns are scored than at any other time of the season . . . hmmm . . . Makes me want to keep things Hot, Hot, Hot in Minnesota! Go Twins!

Wednesday, July 05, 2006

Where are the fireworks? The Twins totally fizzled in Kansas City on the 4th of July. I was not feeling any freedom bells ringing when I was watching that game.

Boof totally biffed and I think I felt myself throw up a little when the Royals walked Home. This is Major League Baseball, not T-ball!!! Please Radke, get the Twins back on track tonight to at least take the series. The Kansas City Royals aren't even that good.

I did see my boy Justin Morneau get a hit in the sixth and extend his career-high hitting streak to 12 games! Go Justin! Go!

Monday, July 03, 2006

WOW! Another Twins SWEEP down in the record books! Do you call that a THREE-SWEEP - kinda like a threepeat?!?! I went to the game on Sunday and had a fabulous time - any Twins fan would. I saw a few Milwaukee Brewers jerseys, but not too many. The Brewers fans looked rather forlorn and I just gave them my best Minnesota Nice sympathy look - you know, the one that says I am so glad you guys suck worse than we do.

It was Military day at the dome and my fetching Minnesota National Guard husband got to hold the front corner of the 100' flag in the outfield during the national anthem so that was cool too. He also managed to hit up Shannon Stewart for a signed baseball. He knew I really wanted a Justin Morneau ball, but no such luck.

The Twins are in Kansas City for the next few days. Let's hope they don't spend too much time downtown boozing it up and maybe they can win a few games on the road. Kansas City is not too hot this year, but the Twins road curse is sure to rear it's ugly head in the near future. Go Twins and Happy Fourth of July!!!

JUICY NEWS ON JUSTIN MORNEAU

Ok, Justin Morneau has quickly become one of my favorite Twins baseball players. I often refer to him as my favorite Canuck (aka Canadian). Well, word on the street is that my lover boy Justin likes to tip a few back (aka get drunk).

Justin Morneau's nickname is Canadian Club and word is that early in the season he was partying way too much and Twins Manager Ron Gardenhire had to put his foot down. The story goes that he had a few late late late evenings during the Toronto series (I hope their aren't any baby Justin's running around in a few months)and Gardy had to have a little come to Jesus meeting with him. Hello?! Justin you are a Major League Baseball player and you are whooping it up like a little college boy.

Take a look at his numbers and the numbers don't lie. He only had one hit in 12 at bats in Toronto! Probably because he was so busy trying to nurse that hang over. I wonder if Justin forgot to guzzle a gallon of water before going to bed . . .If he needs help remembering that little trick, sign me up! He is yummy!

LET'S FACE IT - THE TWINS ARE HOT!!!

The boys of summer have finally got it together. The home games have been super duper - we swept the Cubs and the Dodgers. That's a Double Sweep! Is there a fancy baseball term for that? Kind of like Double Play, but way way better (-: With the Brewers in town next, the border battle games should be top notch. Now, if we could just get the Tigers and the White Sox to lose a few, the Minnesota Twins could still be in the pennant race.

It is definitely true that momentum is often a stronger force than raw talent. One of our beloved Minnesota Twins players was quoted on the news saying that "Winning is Contagious...and so was losing." Clearly, the Minnesota Twins are on the winning side of the momentum equation. Let's just hope and pray that they can stay that way. You've gotta have Faith. . .d'Faith...d'Faith - oh, you gotta have Faith - that was my best George Michael karaoke impression of the summer! Go Twins!

AARGH!!!!! The Twins SWEPT the Pirates!!!

I can hardly believe that I get to say that! Granted the Pittsburg Pirates are a worse team this year than the Twins (some days that is hard to believe), but I am just so proud that my Twinkies could win a series ON THE ROAD!!! Johan Santana pitched another stellar game on Sunday and the Twins swung those bats like they are supposed to do to get the big "W" and go .500 for the season. We are still 11 games behind those stinky Detroit Tigers, but there is definitely a glimmer of hope on the horizon.

Next up? The crazy Houston Astros . .. Radke will open the series. Now, Brad I know the Astros won the National League in 2005, but really don't get sweaty palms about it and pitch a solid game! Radke has got to keep it together if the Twins have any hope of gaining in the Central. His last few starts have been solid so I gotta keep the faith, but maybe he needs some Botox in those hands to keep them dry so he can manage his fastball. I guess we will have to wait and see - the suspense is killing me. . .

VOTE MAUER: There has been an overwhelming grassroots effort to get Joe Mauer voted into the All-Star game - this seems like such a no-brainer - it just amazes me that there is even a question as to whether he should or should not be there. VOTE MAUER!

FREE JASON BARTLETT

I have been seeing these Free Jason Bartlett shirts around town . . .now that the Twins have called him up - is he Free? Best of Luck to Jason - I know he can rock the Dome! What do the rest of the Twins fans think????
Wow! I am starting a blog. I read several other blogs and I have posted a few comments, signed a few guestbooks and even sent a few emails, but it just feels more important and more purposeful to have your OWN blog. I don't know why I waited so long to start one - everyone is doing it - well, not EVERYONE, but a lot of people.

I am officially starting my own blog about the Major League Minnesota Twins baseball team. It's summer and when I think summer I think baseball - Minnesota Twins baseball! Besides, they say, "Diamonds are a girls best friend" if you are married to my husband - that saying definitely means BASEBALL DIAMONDS.

I was born and raised in the great state of Minnesota so being a Twins baseball fan comes with the territory. I have to admit I am not the kind of fan that knows all the stats or even knows what all those darn abbreviations mean and I just can't seem to keep track of who is on what farm team when, but I watch a lot of games. I avidly critique plays and players from everything to batting order to who has put on a few pounds or who has clearly lost their marbles to should we fans build a new ballpark and what will happen to the old one. Maybe I have more questions than answers . . .but it's my Twins blog so that's OK.

I love the Minnesota Twins and I love the idea of just blurting out whatever I think on this little itty bitty page that I hope someday will get a higher google ranking than shall I be bold and say a 4 ? Since there are 4 sides to the diamond and all - ya know, 3 bases plus home plate.
Hmmmmmm..................
