TWINS HOME OPENER

Opening Day has finally arrived for the 2007 Minnesota Twins. I hope all the hype surrounding the big game isn’t in vain. With many returning players, the Minnesota Twins hope to prove to its fans and MLB scholars that 2006 wasn’t a fluke and that the team can be more prepared for playoff competition in 2007.

The biggest hurdle the Twins will face in 2007 will be pitching. The Twins need to develop a solid rotation and each and every pitcher will need to make a strong showing. No pitching concerns tonight, though, as ace Johan Santana will take the mound to face off against the Baltimore Orioles. Go Johan, show us what you got!

2007 should be a great major league baseball season. The AL Central is ultra competitive and the Minnesota Twins hope to start the proverbial baseball marathon off sprinting!
